Hello! Welcome to Prairie Creek! Prairie Creek Vineyards was established in 2003, with the winery and tasting room following in 2007. Since that time, the vineyard has grown to a little under 15 acres, and the tasting room has morphed into a restaurant and world of its own. While the production facility and vineyards are located on our original site in rural Merrick County, Prairie Creek’s new tasting room is conveniently located right on Highway 30 in downtown Central City! You won’t miss the giant wine bottle hanging off the side of the building. While you’re joining us to experience the wine list with a rotating number of choices, feel free to stay for an appetizer and supper! We’re open Tuesday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on Saturday the tasting room opens at 1:00 pm so you can have a little extra wine time.
